The host for IHH is down at the moment, we are aware of the problem. :)
If the situation can't be resolved in a reasonable time, then an alternative url will be given out so as not to delay the launch of the brake down crane.

I noticed in the video that it can pick up and put a wagon back on the track. I'm presuming that is a wagon that will come with the add on, and you wont be able to pick up every wagon in the game? is that right?

Hi Guys

Due to having to move site hosts ( see thread) the crane will be delayed by one week until the 30/07/2010.

Situation beyond my control I'm afraid ( for the last time lol)

Some pointers on the crane.

Limitations.
To see the crane operating you have to switch to cab mode. Key 1 ( this is the only mode that gives smooth control over animations).
The result is you only have two fixed camera positions, although freely pannable and also a zoom function.

Crane controls that are player operable.
Jib
Hoist
Slew
Hook Rotate
Lifting Beam attatch/detatch
Outrigger Jacks Toggle.
Re-Rail Special Wagon

The crane is fully drivable as per a regular diesel engine.

Rerailing
This is a bit of smoke and mirrors.. the wagon is a transfer point and on pressing the T key it rerails ..
For this reason it is impossible for me to include ready made scenarios as it would entail including a route with the added "Transfer Points"
The ability to create Scenario Transfer points has been requested to RS. Com

Full intructions / manual detailing the procedure for creating your own "Mishap" will be included.

Yes the package has a few limitations, but I do believe still has plenty to offer and many hours playability.

Right now off on a weeks holiday..... so catch you all when I get back :D

A very welcome change, somthing else to challange us with?

I was wondering if you were planning on doing any of the steam ransom and rapier 45 ton cranes as a future project perhaps, be a nice site to see one of them being hauled on RW behind an 8F :)
