Class 37 - Dutch Livery

Post by Acorncomputer »

Hi

I am looking to update The Spa Valley Railway route in the near future to take into account the changes that have taken place over the last year or so to the real line. I would like to match the RW stock with the real stock as much as I can and a Class 37 in 'Dutch' livery would be a great addition. Perhaps one of the re-skinners would like to do this for the UKTS library so that all current users of the route (over 3700 RW and RS downloads) can use this version in its current environment and it will also help with my update.

I am sure Richard Fletcher did a one. Is it not over at the Oovee freebies page with the weathered BR Blue version?

I think he gave up on it well atleast i havent seen it since he posted the pics of it in the shed when ages ago.

Im sure hossack, me or Will (chef666) could always knock something up

There is a choice you can make aswell.

You can either have the correct girls (on the nose) with a broken marker headlamp or you can have a working headlamp with some grills that are slightly wrong also i think the buffers will be wrong so its your choice.

But i will look into it

Thanks for the replies.

Richard Fletcher has created just about every other version of the 37 but I cannot see this particular one.

I did notice that this was a later version of the class with oval buffers but I am sure that the team looking after 37254 would be pleased with anything that was as near to the loco as possible in its current working condition.

chef666 has/had one in production though the image has now expired from the thread http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 3#p1289143

but it looked very good as i remember!
Currently recreating Salisbury to Exeter 50s/60s.
almost all yard, trackwork, scenery and signalling complete salisbury - wilton. Trackwork 2013 standard to Gillingham, Older beyond. - Abandoned due to newer tools in subsequent TS versions.

That doesn't really matter though,we can only make do with what's available until Derek can provide an update :)
