However the advice stands - don't be afraid to go with default or IOW/Falmouth items for the first attempt. And as regards DEM you will need to obtain this either from the USGS server or the more detailed 20m resolution data available from the UKTS file library.

Looks like Meshtools are making a verison of the route. Looking at their latest picture update on facebook.

I think mesh tools are making a preserved line which is fictional with varied stations on it.
Darpor I meant DEM.

I think I've just about followed the first page of it, but it now just seems to be flying off into multiple tangents every time anyone posts anything.

Joking aside, I agree Bob: it's all over the shop; the OP appears to have disappeared and we've now got another person who seems to be confusing decals and DEMs doing their version.

was just thinking about the East Somerset Railway today. i don't think i've ever been . won't be going for a while longer either as my cars just gone catastrophically wrong, good old Fiat/lancia . I'd be willing to help, but my modelling skills are virtually non-existant, but i sort of know my way around blueprints and editing bin/xml files, and have started dabbling in sounds.

what is the status of this route, is it to be along the lines of the Talyllyn with donation to the railway with the purchase or is it more of a payware for profit of the creators rather than the railway?
