One thing I really hope, Is that these wagons don't have continuous brakes, only the handbrakes, which would be manually applied :D Therefore making it unfitted and realistic unlike the default wagons :D

Yes, ideally steam-era wagons would come in both fitted and unfitted variants.

All looking gorgeous.

I too thought 'Whoa!' on first seeing Adam's amazing shot of 4208 with plough fitted. Stykxx read my mind. You'd definitely need snow protection on the S&C so here's hoping Joe's carrying on with it. Looking at the shot I can imagine the 'snow' about to be shifted. I take it we at least have the effect with the white haze coming out each side? It looks convincing enough.

Having said all that, cor it looks cold, glad we've moved on to a new page.  The new wagons are indeed very welcome.

The 4F is looking very good in the latest RSC screenshot, but isn't it missing the boiler bands? I believe the yellow cabside warning stripe - signifying that the loco was barred from the southern section of the electrified WCML - appeared only in the 1960s and thus would not have been seen with the very early BR tender livery depicted, nor on locos based outside the WCML area.

I'm guessing that the yellow band is just something that's selectable like the shedcode on the class 45, or the destinations on the 101 DMU.

Yes I have seen that too, only BR late crest would apply. Certainly not on 'British Railways' or early crest and definitely not on 4208, the LMS version. But as Paul already said this is probably selectable and that would be perfect, so you can add it as needed :D

Sorry but this was lost with my hardrive crash some months ago, 6 months work no external backup  .

After i have finished Blyth & Tyne v2 ill make a new start at this, still have the buildings etc and all the data which i compilled.

may even have a look at a group effort if theres any takers!

back on subject , 4f looks great ,i have a photo in a book of kingmoors 44009 working a heavy freight over the s&c ,it could still be heard 20 minutes later heading up the long drag.

I reckon this is one of the best shots ever out of RailWorks. Another fantastic steamer -
