Hi all.
I have tried this chaps. I have done the lua file ok, but when i do the bin file and then try and save it, RW_Tools gives me a
'Run-time error '75' Path/File access error' message.

Can anybody help please?

Cheers,
Terrone.

Not sure about that one. I'm more old school and have my serz automatically open bin files, edit the XML in a text editor and then serz it back to bin. Not familiar with editing them in RW_Tools.

You are familar with editing XML correct? It could be you're simply pasting it in the wrong section or copied the code wrong etc.

Oh yeah, remember to make a backup of an unedited one. You'll know when you did it wrong if

A. Serz throws an error converting the xml back to bin

or

B. Railworks locks up when clicking on the train

I found the section that Rik posted earlier on in the thread in the default JT Class 20, and copied it. I am finding it a bit hard finding the 'Corresponding location' in the bin file of the loco that i want to modify. Im assuming that it has to be pasting at a certain position?

And ohhh yes, i have made back-ups of the originals! lol.

Cheers,
Terrone.
