Cool add-on pack. Modelling quality is amazing. IHH-s Class 20 was nice too but this one is just brilliant. Only minor drawbacks in sounds. JustTrains developers should learn from Armstrong Powerhouse examples how approaching train has to sound. Sounds are right ones of cause (especially beautiful horn) but the volume range leaves to be decired. There is too less dynamics in sound. I know this has been true for most stuff created for RW (RS). In some cases it has been too hard to record right sounds or was extracting out right frequencies impossible. But another problem is RW file standards (blueprints) are not well documented yet. Now it's proved by Richard Armstrong that realistic sounds are still possible in RW. He opened our eyes ... sorry - ears. Now soundmakers have to learn from these examples. Absolutely no question - for realistic driving feel right sounds and right sound balances are extremely important.
Anyway - JT Class 20 pack is worth to be voted 10 out of 10 in raw comparison to other payware add-on packs.

Just to confirm, the only sounds I have worked on for Just Trains are the Class 60 and that was purely putting together recordings they had acquired.

Just downloaded this. Awesome is the only word i can legitimately use!! However, a quick query. I decided to alter a scenario on the Wales and Borders route to use the new Choppers. Specifically the '6C20' scenario. I used RW_tools to do this. I clicked on duplicate item to add two locos to the 6C20 coal service. Changed all the other stock to make a nice late 80's/early 90's scenario, no problems. However, the trailing chopper appears dead. No exhaust, no nothing. The train also handles like its being dragged by a single 20. Does anyone know how to make both choppers live?

I thought you did all of their sounds... So you only do scenarios for them then?

And we were very pleased with the Class 60 sounds too. I'm sure that there will be more sounds at some point in the future from Richard Armstrong in Just Trains products!

Thanks for all the feedback, glad everyone is enjoying the Class 20 Collection pack.

Thanks,

Simon
