O.K. Guys/Gals, I need a little help here. At the moment, Milkbottles are all I am concerned about. ( If this post belongs in a different section, then mods please adjust)
Is there ANYway that I could find all mikbottles in a route and delete in one foul swoop? Instead of trawling the route cm by cm. Or for the English guys inch by inch. LOL.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!
Tony.

Re: Milkbottles
As I recall, milk bottles are what you see when you have assets missing from a route. RW_Tools should be able to list everything that you're missing, although it won't tell you where to find them all. I'm sure with some help here we could track most, if not all of them for you.

Re: Milkbottles
You definitely have missing scenery, whatever that may be. Check with RW Tools.

Re: Milkbottles
Hi
You could try substituting the missing assets (with RW Tools) with a large structure like a brick chimney and then when you go back into the route just delete all the unwanted chimneys.
This works with other unwanted assets but might not work with milk bottles.

Re: Milkbottles
In RW_Tools, from the Missing Shapes screen, select a shape and click the Substitute Missing Shapes button, and leave the bottom half of the Substitute window blank. Then the Missing Shape is removed and replaced with nothing, i.e. it is deleted.

Re: Milkbottles
Gentlemen, thank you for your replies, much appreciated. The Route in question is not mine, and I have simply been entrusted to remove all the Milkbottles whilst the Author is away.
My understanding of using R.W.Tools is not good enough to enable me to use it (sorry Mike) on the Route.
I HAVE made a backup, but am still a little nervous about using R.W. Tools. Just thought there might be a quicker way of removing milkbottles than searching for them one by one.
Once again thanks for the replies, and sorry to have wasted your time.
Cheers!

Re: Milkbottles
I wish these Milk Bottles were not used, it just looks daft having them showing when "missing scenery" isn't a problem and having the additional scenery simply allows a route or scenario to be progressively enhanced by showing that additional scenery. I can fully understand the editor showing an object to show an item that is "missing", if nothing more than so as it can be selected and removed, but for it to show milk bottles to the end user whilst driving the route just seems daft.

Beer bottles would have been a much better choicesimuk wrote:I wish these Milk Bottles were not used, it just looks daft having them showing when "missing scenery" isn't a problem and having the additional scenery simply allows a route or scenario to be progressively enhanced by showing that additional scenery.
