Fortuitously I discovered that, believe it or not, these errors cause asset from developer Dede34. I installed it at the same time when I was looking assets for Carbonia route. I saw it by date. Can anyone else confirm this or is it only happens to me?
I found that when I tried to mark all providers with RWTools. Then, first RWTools was crashed and RailWorks when I started it. Then I by system of elimination discovered that the cause is Dede34.
Calling a pure virtual function can never be the fault of the data. It is impossible to test assets 100% at installation, some imperfect ones are passed. This is creator friendly in allowing for imperfection and give you a chance to discover what it is.
It looks like a problem with an asset's configuration - typically a missing or wrong attribute value in a blueprint file. Other cases in a simulator, that could cause this, would be: if a (sub-) component/object/asset was/went missing or failed to load without notice. Most seasoned RW users will have long lists of assets, they would like to install and use, but have found problematic in some way.

I suggest you submit this bug, including the assets causing this error to RS.com. This may help to find the cause of the bug and povide a better error message.
I would contact Dede34. I guess there is something wrong with one of his files.
Most likely candidate would be the encoding of non-ASCII characters, in French or Spanish names.
You could also dig deeper if you apply the elimination method on his files. This could help him, if you could spot the one thing that does not load. Then, there is only one file for him to work on.

But I dont know who is Dede34. Here is folders and file that cause errors:
Developer: Dede34
Addon: scenery
Folder: Publicite_Herault_aude
Folder: Destination_Bedarieux
File: Destination_Bedarieux.bin
Edit: If I try open this file with RWTools then error appears:
I'm quite sure the errors are asset based, and this has happend in greater amounts since the last update.
One thing I like to do is add my own sounds, simple ones. Just as an example, replace the bogies sound entry in the Kuju TTA Black tanker wagon .bin file, from BG_modern.dav to point to my own sound file, if I do this the wagon can be placed in the editor but the game fails when play is selected. Prior to this update I was able to change the sound entry, it has worked since RS days and I have loads of backups of this wagon with modified sound entry, I can copy paste this file into RW as many times as I like and it fails every time. Why does this happen I wonder, since the latest update? BTW all my sound additions work on other stock so no problem with those.
I'm shocked with many zero byte files. I have not noticed it before. But something is not clear to me. If the 108.0a version (came Jun 03) caused errors, why the zero byte files have date Jun 01?
Not all 0 byte files are harmfull, but when it is, you will notice this immediately, RW won't start.
Only 2-3 files (mcs+Dede34) at the bottom are harmfull, those from june 1, I think are harmless.
I will try later to post some more links to other threads in this forum, that are related.
It's possible that when you delete the 0 byte files found with RW tools, will return when you verify the game cache.
Don't worry about them, those are the ones that are harmless.
Sorry, my English isn't so good, but I will try to explane it.
Here's a tip.
When you install .rwp file, after the installation in package manager, check the colour of the items. Only .cost, .tgt, .cost.tgt, may have the colour red.
When all the items have the colour red, the assets are bad installed.
In my opinion RW will not recognize them. Of course this is not a good thing.
You can check this with RW tools. When the asset is a scenery item, RW tools will tell you that the item is missing.
I think that the problem is caused by to many .cost and etc. files.
The install failes somehow. All items are displayed in the colour red.
The files are present in the assets folder.
I just hope it helps.
A: This error occurs when a file has become corrupted after editing it. This can happen if the game crashes when saving and the changes are not saved properly.
To resolve the issue, a backup of the route should be reinstated by first deleting the corrupted version and then installing the Backup via the Package Manager.
