Which reskins? If they were mine you definitely need to install one of david's 86/2 models. If they were the freightliners I had no issues with those. Don't know if you have a UKTS Premium account or how much trouble it would be for you but best bet would probably be to install all of David's base models, clear your cache and then see if you still have an issue.

Unless he means the NR ones as there was no BIN file all the others have worked for me.

This again. Try this and tell me your result. Rename the body texture with the prefix nm and rename the nm part to nmc (might need to delete the original nmc body texture)

I asked before and got crickets for an answer. I don't think anyone knows why it does this. For a small sect of users for some reason Railworks wants to only load the nmc texture set of some models. Most reskinners only reskin the nm textures. So, in turn for these small set of users they'll only see the not reskinned base model. In your case that's the IC one.

Hmm, that appears right from memory. Someone else will probably have to step in and walk you through how to try my remedy to this. I'm at work and don't have these sets on my laptop so I forget the exact file names etc to provide help properly.

This has to do with weather the user has their 'object texture' detail set to High, Medium or Low. Users who have High will see the nm texture and those with Low or Medium will see the nmc textures.

Finally an answer! I've been looking for an actual answer to this for ages. Thank you! Thank you!

I would also like to thank David Richardson for these lovely skins, and David Brindley for the excellent models.

id like to second that :)

all sorted,i normally use railworks on medium when playing trains and full when route building.

presume when making bluprints for a model it must create 2 diferent resolutions. didnt know that.

maybe this should be stickied somewhere ,can see this being a problem for users in the future.

A lot of reskinners I know only reskin the uncompressed version also which in turn causes users like you to only see default. Now that I know what causes the game to switch to the compressed textures I will save my skins as both. It adds a lot more work of file tracking but if it causes one person less hassle then it's worth it.

Yes I for one have difficulty in running certain routes maxed out but not all, thanks for pointing this out concerning the reskins.

Sorry to barge in here, but, I cannot get the new reskins to show either, however, the BR Blue, Inter City and IC Swallow Class 86's created by David, all show up fine, so why should I need to tweak my object texture button, don't they all have the same resolutions??? And if I tweaked, would I then lose all of the above, but, gain the new reskins, it's all a bit confusing......
