Bug, but cool :)))

Post by vlado960 »

After last update (108.0a) my screen is sometimes flickering. In first part of video that looks cool, but on the end not (Outside view to scene)

Personally, in the cab, flickering effect is likable. Looks like to ride in a very cranky loco on very bad track. But still, this is a bug.

This makes me wonder if realistic cabin sway would be worth the frame rate hit?

I've got this a few times whilst driving Tornado, and I don't like it. I get all of the rivet things holding stuff in place disappearing be hind stuff, or dials needles disappearing behind the dials.

Hi , had this after the evening star update because the files were changed but the blueprints cache hadn't been cleared. Cleared the cache & wobble stopped!

I get the jelly cab probably once a month, it disappears after a complete quit (including RW launcher app) and re-open. I guess it's kind of the software equivalent to Hello, IT. Have you tried turning it off and on again?

I've encountered this a few times, once it ended with a SBH, but only once. The dials disappeared eventually, and the cab progressively got increasing distance between the left and right "shake."

I've found it affecting camera view 4 lately as well, but only that and the cab view, all others are fine :-?

I had associated it, perhaps wrongly, with minimising the screen, and poping it back up again. It also appears to affect some cabs (such as the invincible one) and not others.
Bit worrying, I thought my graphics card was melting!

Kevin is correct.I get this problem every so often but it has been with us since the early days of Rail Simulator it appears to happen in a random way and for no apparent reason.
