Indeed, I know that, but someone has kindly done the job and uploaded it all here for me. Some stuff will get updated, some stuff won't. Whatever happens happens. All I want to see most of all is TrackIR implented.

Sorry Fodda I forgot to say you must add AP two tones first before applying the edit. I had the same problem with passengers sitting on the roof, I thought it was an Indian train at first lol.

Edited the description to include this problem.
This will only work with Armstrong Powerhouse's Two Tone Horn pack. Any people who haven't got this pack downloading this package will have no horn, and there are reports of both the driver and all passengers sitting above the train. I would have done another version for people who don't have the Two-Tone pack but it involves editing 15+ files which I am not that sad to do :)
I ***MIGHT*** get a version that doesn't need AP's pack made...

Forget that last post.

Now updated to v1.1, should be out tomorrow or something when it gets updated. Alternatively get it from RWTS. :P
Version 1.1 adds a separate .zip file to install for the people who do NOT have the Armstrong Powerhouse's Two-Tone Horn pack. If you have already downloaded the v1.0 and have the AP pack, there is no need to re-download. Users of v1.0 who do not have the pack please overwrite when asked when downloading this. This pack should (for the non-owners) fix the passengers and driver sitting on top of the train issue.

Nice one Sean. Thanks for the 101s... How about the 31s? and 33s?, and Peaks? 40s? Diesel Hydraulics? ;-) ;-) ;-)

No, really, thanks for that, you're a star.

I'm having a problem now, spent all last week modifying my trains with headlights, everything worked fine. I bought the 31 from RS and edited the .bin with headlights which worked fine. Later I decided to get Richard's 31 enhancement pack but then everything went pear-shaped, no scenarios (for Any train) would run, pressed CTRL-Alt Delete and got the error message about API core .etc and something about "Line 113" everytime. I did a verify, still the same, did a complete re-install, still the same. Anybody any ideas? I'm reluctant to wipe the whole Railworks folder but perhaps I'll have to. :(

Almost certainly a screwed-up XML file. Have a trawl for zero-byte files first of all. If that works, great, however, on the offchance it doesn't, search for all the XML files in the Content tree and focus on the one(s) between the time it last worked and the time you realised it was broken. Remove them (keep backups...) in turn to see if that fixes the problem.

Cheers, Rik.

I haven't got the Class 33, Peak, 40 or a Diesel Hydraulic - apologies.

Class 31 could be possible.

I can't say anything will work for definate as I tried modding the Class 67 (RSC) and the blueprint file is differently set up - preventing me with my method working.

Glad to be of help :)
Kind Regards

I was only fishing Sean. You do what you want to do, and if it works and you upload it, more power to your elbow.

I couldn't sort it so uninstalled everything, even the railworks folder, made a fresh install, re-applied all Richards add-ons, sounds and enhancement packs and THEN applied all the headlight edits. Everything is great again now. What I think I did was to edit the headlights on the RSC 31 which worked ok, but then I installed Richard's 31 enhancement pack and then it all went wrong.

Golden Rule: Make sure all enhancement packs and/or sound packs are installed prior to adding the headlight script to the .bin files and ALWAYS make backups!!

It shall see the light of day..

Yet another former project I rescued from the rubbish bin. Richards fix made me think about it, and then a quick chat with Kariban lead me to figure something out that I couldn't before.. So.. Yeah.. It'll be done now.. It's a lot of work, easy work, but a lot. I'm in the middle of editing the audio blueprints for this entire conversion but this is where she stands as if posting this.

Fantastic Styckx, you're a star, I can't wait for this, it's been a long time coming but worth the wait. One question, will it be an F5 view or roaming camera?
