Hi all,
I'm about to change PC's, and was wondering what files I need to backup so I can transfere RW smoothly?

My back ups are of the entire Railworks folder. Move that entire zip to your new PC, and restore. Very simple.

Backing up, or reinstalling through Steam will only reinstall your basic RW + DLC content. If you have made any changes you want to keep, or have added any additional routes and assets, then these will not be backed up or reinstalled. The only safe and sensible option, unless you play strictly "out of the box" is to back up your entire RW folder to another external HD, then having installed Steam/RW/DLC to the new location, overwrite with your backed up installation (also ensures you have a backup
).

If you haven't made any modifications to default files, you can backup your assets folder, and repackage your routes and transfer them too.
