Keyboard remapping

Post by styckx »

I'm not exactly really familiar with the mapper files but would it be possible to remap the FPS command to something else? I quit using fraps unless I'm recording video as the Railworks built in screenshot is much nicer. I can't recall how many times I've accidentally turned off my locomotives engine when flipping in and out of checking my frame rates. Waiting for the engine to fully wind down and then go through the startup procedures can kill a schedule. :)

I may be mistaken, but I think the frame indicator, spad tab and load/unload keys are hard coded into the game and are not included in the mapper files, so cannot be changed.
As a related point, the troublesome editor "t" key, which dems the terrain and is the cause of much teeth nashing if you press it accidentally, can be remapped. It's in the editor map blueprint. I've remapped mine to shift-cntrl-t, much less likely to press this accidentally!
