A4 Pacifics

Post by msey0002 »

So I bought this add on from JT, it's a beautiful add on, but the sound cuts out a lot, the whistle and brakes in particular. Any idea how I can remedy this?

cheers

Hiya Keith, first off thanks very much for your response :).

However, I can hear the whistle, it's just that after a few miles of driving it cuts off abruptly. Does this fix remedy this also?

Thank you again

I think this is a bug in RW, I get exactly the same problem, and I don't think there is a fix yet?

A bug, or is it your computer running out of resources to play the sounds?
Alan

My railway photos are now on Google + - links to the albums are in this thread http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 9&t=149558

Lots of steam and early diesels from 1959 to 1963.

Well I've been told it a bug but that's all I've been told :-? I wouldn't be suprised if its my computer, cause it's not the best.

To be honest, my laptop isn't the best either. However, I only get this with a few rolling stock, most notably steamers. Actually thinking on it, all steamers do it, otherwise diesels and electrics don't give me problems

Edit: pardon me, the Class 66 and 158 do it to me also

I can also confirm that I too get this problems, very often with the 158 also with the HST sometimes, But this bug has been around since the days of RS, It is due to your computer running out of resources, but it might not be the computer more like a bug with sim itself. But to be fair since the latest update I haven't had the problem.
