After transferring my route from RS to RW with RWtools I loaded RW an opened my route no problem. I decided while I was there to edit a couple of bit of track so pressing my space bar to flip through each setting of the track, RW froze. After exiting Tried to reload RW again and I can't load the game at all all I get is a message like
ERROR: (144):
File: ../API\core/cFxexception.h
Line:113
Quickly followed by an error message from microsoft net C+++ saying something wrong with steam\steamapps\common\rw\railworksproc2exe
I deleted local RW files with steam and reinstalled but to no avail. Wiped everything to do with RW now and trying a full reinstall.
Can someone offer any advice if this doesn't work?
Thanks
Phil

For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it

It would have been simpler to delete your route, and then try again - bit late for that now.

My railway photos are now on Google + - links to the albums are in this thread http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 9&t=149558
Lots of steam and early diesels from 1959 to 1963.

Did you then reboot your computer before starting Railworks? others have reported that this worked.pjt1974 wrote:first thing I did along with any assets I'd installed beforehand

Re: Penelope Pitstop moment "HELP"
Problem solved, eventually, there was a problem with one of the scenario's I was using to access the editor on my route and when it was crashing it was effecting the game's start up procedure for reasons best known to itself.
Only found out at the 3rd time of asking when I copied my route with RWtools(for the 3rd time) and it told me there was a problem with a scenario.
Ah well, you live and learn.
Thanks all the same alan
