I have had the shaking cab/loco/stock occasionally and noticed it happening after coupling to stock which was previously static in a siding/platform or brought in by an AI loco on the start of a scenario, it has never happened when using stock that was already coupled to the driven loco.

Wow
Just bought GARL. Looks like I've got to splash out again tonight
I remember the shakes in RS, I think a patch fixed this as I have never seen it since.
Maybe RSC have added some code to allow future cab sway? (a big assumption with no inside knowledge)
I'd rather this than a bug
Cheers

Ditto, and thanks for the revised Class 47 and Deltic reskins (in more or less original condition, without the ETH jumper ) . I'm not sure how acquired them, and only just noticed them after I downloaded the 9F.
Despite a quick search on this forum, I can't find any mention of these addons.

I'm getting the same problem with the Summer Saturday scenario and Evening Star.It backs down to the train and crashes into it.I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but it's still the same. Also, with the Pines Express scenario,it loads up but I have no control over it whatsoever.Evening Star just pulls away into the distance-none of the relevant keys work on it.
Can anybody help please?

Hi Jimmy
Pines Express... when entering the scenario select the Evening Star by clicking on it.. you should then have control.
Summer Saturday.. it is essential that you follow the instructions in this scenario.
wait until 44888 has dropped off and run round its train .. when it stops click on it and press shift +cntrl+C to couple to its coaches.
then immediatley select 92166 and wait for 92220 to back down.
When 92220 has backed down and stopped at its coaches..
immediately select 92220, press shift +cntrl+ C to couple
press F3 and uncouple the Black 5 from the other end
press T to load your passengers
when complete drive to Templecombe.

Nice little video of that scenario Paul. I like that 'engine-hopping'!
RW is slowly getting better and more realistic through the efforts of people like you; excellent!
I guess I have to get me the 9F package now soon!

i cant seem to get a 9f up the hills in simple mode or in intermediate modes, it gets up to abaout 25 mph then slowly drops back down toa crawl then stall,i have tried various throttle positions no joy guess i will have to learn to drive again!!, excellent model though relly captures the look and the sounds are superb, dont know what all the moaning is a bout. Big thumbs UP.

Just finished 9F Pines Express activity my rating is 5*/ extreme hard. Hauling 11 coaches uphill with gradient 1in 50 very chalenging(hand on sander all time when going uphill). My recomend settings(expert mode) 100% regulator cutoff ca. 69% and sander open brakes on runing position blower fully on. Real Driver and Fireman must be real working class heroes doing this. Great job Sly.

Hi Anthony
Driving tip with the 9F and a heavy train uphill..
leave regulator at full 100% and using the reverser try and keep both the steam generation and steam usage at 30000 (when SV shut) all the time.
you may well have to use the sanders to stop wheelslip
The 9f's are not front end limited when working hard at slowish speeds.. and are well known for being prodigeous steam producers.. never could stop them blowing off.
The acheivable performance on The Pines is a very close match with Peter Smiths on the last pines with a record 426 tonnes.
45 mins to Bath

minimum on the banks 15 mph at 78% cutoff and 100 %regulator ( 78% in the HUD about 65% in cab )

I'm looking forward to getting the 9F, I have bought it and got the free standard thankyou

but I cannot get the 9f due to very poor download speed, I'm sure this is at my end I'm getting 3-15kbps with the suggestion it may take 3 hours to download however the down load cuts off giving a 'timed out' error. Is there a limit on the number of down load attempts I can have, as I may have to try some time in the future when BT gives us a better service rather than the string and tin can we have at the moment.
Thanks
Mark

Can't wait to buy this tonight. Is IHH setup for instant email to download or is it a pay, wait, and get your download once someone on the site gets it? Wondering if I should do the transaction from work which I try to avoid doing as much as possible.
