Darren:

In your preamble you mention uninstalling the signs pack. I was not aware there was one involved, so I'm not sure I had anything to uninstall.

Anyway, having run Cresston V3 through RW_Tools apart from the decals (understood) it lists missing 'Cresston\Route Objects\scenery\buildings\blueglasssshelterseats.bin and a whole stack of signs: Bell Mill, Breskerr, British Energy, Deerview, Halbrook, Hatterby Junction, Lanyeard Heritage, Lanyeard, Laynewalk Hill, Telbury Manor, and Thwaite. It appears a folder named: Assets\Darren\ was not include in the .rar package.

Hi Mike

They are the old signs, still being referenced and the shelter wasn't used so they can be ignored. The route should run fine without.

Just ran down to Hatterby Junction at constantly in excess of 200FPS. Wow! Despite all the trees.

Thanks Darren.

Hi Mike, I don't envisage you will get that much on the newer more detailed parts of the route but I have still tried to make it as FPS friendly as possible.

Hi Darren

Well done for getting this route out, no mean feat.

I have completed the RailWorks version of TBL and I have spent the last couple of weeks writing some scenarios to go with it. I am having some problems with the scenarios and the constant testing is very time consuming but I am getting the hang of it. I have found quite a few errors in my route structure which was clearly confusing the dispatcher, particularly a couple of markers with the same name. This caused the new scenario editor to show multiple paths which was inexplicable at first but obvious once checked. The marker list did not help as it only listed one name for each marker even if there were more than one placed with the same name.

If you get the time, it might help to check for this sort of route building error which might explain some of the problems you might have been having.

Great stuff.

Darren:

I just ran 43 miles from Lanyeard to Mayweather via Shencliffe and Ennisford with FPS dipping to around 100 at Ennisford and Mayweather, otherwise up around and over 200. Very FPS friendly indeed! Thanks again for an excellent route.

Thanks for your work on the great route.

I followed the instructions to delete V2.1, installed V3, and RW Tools found the following assets are missing:

Missing Assets

railworks\Assets\Darren\Thwaite\scenery\station_signs\nameboards\nameboard_4x2.bin (Scenery Item) on tile -000029+000006.bin

I've restored all Darren's assets from my backup, but the first item does appear to be missing. Is this available from anywhere?

Hi Alan

Those are old signs and are remnants from the early versions which are not needed. I am pretty sure I didn't use the glass shelter in the route, however, it is available at my site should you want it. http://www.dpsimulation.org.uk/

The route should run fine without these objects.

Before I forget, my first payware based scenario called "Tidal Scrap" is currently awaiting approval but can be downloaded now from here:- http://rs-trainsim.co.uk/forums/index.p ... w;down=706 Please read the download screen for a list of requirements.

Briefing

Take an EWS Class 37 with an empty rake of SSA wagons from Mayweather to Watsons Scrapyard, stopping for fuel at Mayweather East Yard en route. You will be required to take the consist to Shencliffe before running around the train in order to proceed back to the scrapyard. Please be aware that there are manual points at the fuelling area which need to be set in order to complete the task. Your opening task is to take the consist towards the crossover points near the fuelling area and uncouple all wagons.
