So many grumps.

Guys, if it's not for you then don't use it, simple.
(I know it's not everyones cup a tea but it is always important to know who's making it)

Steve, we have done our research. (btw my comment about the coffee was a joke) twitter is a great way for Dan and Adam and the other guys to let you know what they are doing on a daily basis, it's not news but still interesting in it's own way.

Now we know this interweb cyber world is not for everyone, but ignoring it would be a bit daft don't you think?

Also, all of these things do not impact on the Dev team much other than us gathering the screen shots.

happy holidays.

Derek
I don't mind targeting different user groups on different media, but it can be very confusing. There are a number of blog's I even don't know they exist. In twitter you refer to a "discussion tab for more info. Well no idea where to find this discussion tab. Maybe I miss something, but I think you can do too much in your communications strategy. I would be very helpful i the information is just copied, so I don't have to search all the outskirst of internet to find out what RS.com is doing. I would prefer one official site, one or two blogs at the most and twitter. Maybe the wiki to report on known bugs

Hi

I am now getting even more confused over the RS.com links. Twitter links take me to sites I cannot access unless I sign up to something and I cannot reply to some blogs unless I sign up also. The only really useful link is the RailWorks opening screen that gives information (when you are online) about DLC. I do not often use RailWorks when connected to Steam but I do get the updated RailWorks opening screen every time I run RailWorks and as this is totally relevant to the simulation, I do not actually mind this. Perhaps this screen could be adapted to provide additional useful information so that each time you run RailWorks the latest news is there to follow up if you wish.

Oh for the simple days ... sigh :-?

Hi
You have to admit it the RS.COM website is about as usefull as a choclate teapot,i agree with Vern the place for news(and i mean news) is the official website, otherwise why bother with a website at all,if i have to trawl the net for info i just wont bother to be honest,it reminds me of the 101 blogs that started when MSTS2 was under development.
can we have all info in one place please :o

I can't agree more ...
It's becoming quite hard to follows RW news when they get spread in so many places
- Official site
- Wiki
- Tweeter
- Flicker
- Youtube
- Facebook
- anymore ?
