Yes, but it'll be bulk and container freight, not the wagonload stuff that gets shunted at each station, is limited to 35mph, and requires extreme care on hills due to inadequate brakes.

Personally, I'd like to see Preston-Carlisle or Newcastle-Edinburgh done in the same style as GARL/E-G.

Two route's I would most like to see are:

South London Metro from Victoria - Beckenham Junction, Caterham, Tattenham Corner, Sutton, Epsom, Epsom Downs, Dorking and Horsham. Early 2000's would be good for the mix of stock and liveries; 455/456 still in NSE livery, along with Connex yellow & white/ghost/Southern green. Then you have all the Slam Doors running around, with Electrostars making their appearance a little later. 319's working Metro services too, in one of my favourite liveries as seen here on 319218: http://www.kentrail.org.uk/class_319_3.htm.

London - Dartford via Greenwich, Bexleyheath and Sidcup - never modelled in a sim before, unless you count LSE which only went as far as North Kent Junction/Lewisham/Hither Green. Perfect for all those EPB's released. Unfortunately, I don't see either happening as only a minority would probably have any interest in the kind of heavy commuter traffic that you could (attempt) to replicate. Most just seem to want the same HS Mainlines duplicated because xx was wrong and the developer missing out x. The only route from the original poll I would actually like to see is the Chiltern Mainline from Marylebone, a station that has yet to appear in any sim.
