Hi all,
A quite well detailed route, I like the stone henge bit .
I've been looking at the tram route be great if we get a tram.
coincadently (sorry can't spell) there was a programme on tv about Indian Hills Railway (Nepal i think) that had narrow gauge railway ,I never realised NG could be so interesting.
Anyway good value for money for a very good cause.
Dont think I will sleep tonight I'll be on Railworks.
Good work to those involved :)

One thing Derek before you guys send out an update. Onnee favor purty please? SW1500 Bell. I see in the setup for the horn sounds the bell code is in place, but the bell code is missing from the engines bin itself, in turn causing the SW1500 to have no bell.

Back to Photoshop I go *swooosh* :)

And yes there are tram's just got to put them in. I think the sound files are missing but should be able copy them from another tram.

I'm a recent convert to RailWorks having been a frustrated MSTS user for many years.... I just got a device powerful enough for Railworks (about 3 weeks ago)... so am still beginning...

I have the IoW pack - love it, as it brings back memories of holidays...

And now I've just bought and driven on the Project Phorum one... I've just done two of the NG lines, and thoroughly enjoyed them... and see potential for a lot of scenario building... so that will be my next dabble (subject to wife's approval, which will no doubt be withheld, but I'll sneak it in anyway!).

I've not seen any issues that I've not seen on other routes, so I'm a happy bunny, and that fact that RailSimulator is a local company, and this project supports a worthwhile charity, I have no issues what so ever....

Now to go and drive another scenario before wife and kids get out of bed...

Hi icornish

PP does lend itself to a wide variety of busy scenarios around the island.

You can extend the scope of scenarios by creating new free roam scenarios and scripting the tasks separately so that you can include standard gauge, narrow gauge and tram activities in a single scenario, just by jumping from loco to loco to tram, etc. Just write a text set of instructions as long and complex as you like and make that available with the scenario if you upload it.

Hi
Just go into world editor(globe icon at bottom of screen) click on the loco icon go down the list, find the tram click on it ,it will appear on track, dont forget to add a driver(click on driver icon then click on the tram).

Kevin
ps i think the trams will not run on simple controls, perhaps mike can verify this.

I created a tram scenario. Uploaded it an hour ago. As soon as it's approved you can use it.

I like the route, but I'm baffled by the decision to point a very nicely modelled terminus station (Ash Row) away from the main island. This pretty much renders the branch line pointless, and eliminates all number of potential scenarios. I really can't get my head round this

Also, something that really should be fixed is the discrepancy between the route directory and the reference in the .xml file, as this means that none of the scenarios can be opened and/or edited with RWTools.

I've bought and downloaded the route and it's brilliant! It's a nice bonus to get something worth the donation in return!

I have only one problem, I seem to be missing the assets for the tramway pier and also the platforms on the route, any ideas?

This series of 3 programs is now being repeated on BBC2 Friday evenings at 2100. First one was last evening.

Took a break last night to finally try out the little narrow gauge. They're fun little things to drive, especially on the gradients. Definitely planning on building some little platforms for their station stops, and maybe a little hut to act as a bathroom or something.

Getting the whole scope of things now, really amazing most of this island was done mostly in 24hrs. Just can't wait for my days off to expand it a little more. The quarry is begging for expansion!
