Sorry can't help there. But, some great photos on the site. Is someone still working on the 302/308 etc.?

Great, how were you going to get it into RW? I have just found a route.

Here is Sketchup

and here is 3DS Max

I have the book "Two Centuries of Railway Signalling" by Geoffrey Kitchenside and Alan Williams so that should provide some data. If you tell me exactly what you want, I could give it a go.

Sadly we wont be getting any date on the signals as thay were all ripped down in the 80s evan a search for the pics came up a blank. Its either that or i dont know much about them. All i know is that thay use to work the LTS :)

Funny, I thought that the other day when SketchUp was being mentioned elsewhere. "Cool!" I thought, "Free software that I can have a crack at modelling for RW with!"... and then I discovered that to export to another 3D suite, e.g. 3DSMax or 3DC, you need the "Pro" version which costs £321! :o

As for 3DSMax itself: £3,000! :o :o :o

How are casual hobbyist modellers supposed to afford that sort of moolah?

Rik.

Edited for clarity.

usd 69.95 = just under £47 real money

My terrible grammar -- what comes of being gobsmacked and trying to compose a sentence... Sketchup Pro is £321.

I used Blender to export a .FBX file and it went into £DS (I keep doing that! Freudian or what!)... 3DS Max effortlessly. Could it be that 3D Canvas will accept the same filetype?

Here's how far I've got with your signal, OM.

Obviously it's not finished yet and it will need some tidying and scaling.

Any use to you?

it doesnt do that file type but this is what it does import, maybe some common ground, but then if you buy 3DC there will be no need for sketchup!
