Blimey, it is very easy! Search box has a size option: empty. Hey presto!

I have a RW_Tools license so I think I just need to update myself.

Don't empty your recycle bin until you are happy that your RW/Route works - you never know  !!!!!

In RW Tools it's quite easy to delete all your 0 byte files, just go into Edit Assets and click on Find Zero Length Files, they will pop up in the section below, then delete each one, a pop up box warns you to copy the particular folder they are in just in case, and then you can either delete them all at once or, one at a time, I suppose it depends how many you get. It defaults to your C: Assets folder, but, I found that if you go back and click on steam, it gets rid of everything in the folders you may not think about. I'm still using version 2.0.52, but, I would have thought that this Edit Assets is present in all versions.

Great screenie Trav, you've even got the brake light working as well..... :P

Thanks Steve, here are the data lines for your UKLights.txt in the RW_Tools Template folder for the rear lights so you can do them yourself:
Standard Fixed Oil Lamp:
Brake Van DT 20T,Kuju\RailSimulator\Scenery\Animated\oillamp_red_drb.bin, 0.0000, 2.0000, -2.5200,0,0,0
Modern 'Flashing Light':
Brake Van DT 20T,Kuju\RailSimulator\Scenery\Animated\\taillight_drb.bin, 0.0000, 2.0000, -2.5200,0,0,0

This puts the lights at the 'south' end. If the asset in the consist is the first then 'flip it'!!

Enjoy

Hello all
Now ive seen some of the problems installing this route ive decided to release an updated version 1.5.

This is what im going to change so far.

Have changed signal outside cambois that stays on red all the time!
made changes to read me (added missing items as posts).

Would people like me to change brake vans in scenarios or should i leave it the way it is !

also has any other problems ,errors been found after release.

i would suggest moving your dt vans otherwise i reckon you will be inundated with error complaints from people and besides if you release an update i'll have to fix them all again :D

cheers

Fair point young Gav, however, what do we use to replace them, as the only other Brake Vans I can find are GWR, not very condusive to railway operations in the Northumberland area. The only LNER/NER I could see were made for MSTS.:(

if you have two sets id say you've had this problem before and copied the files rather than used RWTools, could have been in rail simulator if you ported your old stock over from there, i had the same problem when i tested a scenario for someone when using rail sim, i had followed the reskinners instructions whereas the scenario creator had a different folder structure, i copied the files over to his structure, its a workaround but not a fix, would be far better if we all had the content installed as it was intended

cheers

Sorry to say I can't get this one working. The loading screen runs for a while and then I get a "Something bad has happened..." message. I ran the logmate as I was loading and there seems to be a problem with locating a blueprint:

Basher, that is a real 'newbie' which I guess must be a local problem rather than one with the route?

1) Do other, third party, routes run OK?
2) If they do have you tried uninstalling the route completely (and manually check the "\railworks\Content\Routes\" folder to ensure this folder has gone: "d20421bc-0c28-467d-86db-062fa70397c9"). Then reinstall and try running again; it may be a corrupt 'RouteProperties.xml' file causing the problem?
