Just wanted to see what everyone thinks? And how much would people be prepared to pay? I would pay for them and I think 4.99 is reasonable

Depends a lot of what the update consists. If it added something magnificent for the gameplay(like having the multiplayer mode) then yes but no for bug fixes and similar sized improvements.

Depends, I say no because I feel then someone could leave stuff out for another update to get more money.
Yay pessimism.

This question isn't thought to end. If there were updates wich you have to pay for you can put the whole steam thing into the rubbish bin as it would be useless (idea was to have all the same version).Third party developers have to create different versions of products wich results in more expensive addons. I don't think that any of the freeware developers could continue their work as they hve the same problem as comercial developers with different versions.

If by updates you mean to the program (I.e. bug fixes) then no, if you mean by content, it depends on whats in the content really.

Don't go giving RS.com ideas!
As far as I'm concerned the payware addons (i.e DLCs) created for Railworks contributes to upgrades / bug fixes etc, no need for a "subscription" for the product.
Microsoft provide free upgrades, so do many others. Apple being exception... Apple at least have a totally new or rewritten product when you have to go from OS9 to OSX etc..

I would start to pay after all the features promised over 2 years ago will be implemented.
P.S.
Didn't we already pay for the 3rd upgrade: RW (former MK3) ?

OK that will be enough.
dean1986 : you have been warned today twice about bumping threads from years ago. Now you have started a poll of dubious value that is guaranteed to get people hot under the collar. Take a 7 day stretch of moderator approved posting to reflect on things. Normally that goes out by email but since you have a blank profile it can go in the forums.
Should you wish to discuss this then email the support desk or contact another member of the moderator team.
