Yup, I deleted the RSC folder and the .ncf file and Tornado has gone, and it didn't download again.

It didn't even show up in the items I have downloaed from Steam
but if you delete the .ncf and then delete the TornadoPack01 folder from the RSC folder, if you have only got Tornado in that folder delete the RSC one aswell.

I'm not very good at all this technical stuff. All I know is that I go into Railworks by clicking on the icon in my Games folder. What happens then is that the greenish box appears: Railworks Steam - Preparing to launch Railworks. Any updates download themselves then. The game then starts. I've never had it set to work offline.
I tried it at 9.00 pm today and 'A1 Tornado Pack' still appears in the Package Manager list. I went into the game and all the Tornado scenarios are still listed. I tried the Oxford-Paddington route scenario and it loaded without any trouble. I haven't checked since, but about 5 hours ago the engine and all the rolling stock were all still there and available to insert into any scenarios of my own.
So it appears not to have been removed yet - does that make sense?

im guessing that as its install on your hard drive steam is unable to remove it, although it would of been removed from your list of downloads via steam . so i guess there little RSC can do. i may be wrong ......guess someone will come along and put me right!merthyrimp wrote:I'm not very good at all this technical stuff.
