How do I contact Railworks

Post by Kevin99 »

Can anybody help,

I have been working on my route as Rail Sim and Railworks for about 2 years now. It contains all the lines of the SR/LSWR West of Exeter, having spent enough hours to sink a ship researching and building. Now having got to the QA stage I find that the camera will not enter various adjacent tiles 3 to be exact right on the main line thus demolishing the route in one go. This part of the route was built as rail sim and was working before the conversion to railworks as I ran trains dow it signal testing.

I do not have a clue as to what has caused this or what the corrective action may be if any. I put this problem on the forum I had one reply which suggested that there may be a faulty texture. I have cleared the tiles even when they are cleared I still cannot get into the tiles.

I do not like to think that I have wasted 2 years effort but it seems so as I would destroy the realistic approach I have endevoured to create. If I by passed these tiles with a deviation line.

I have sent emails to the rail Sim Support all you get is computer generated response. Hence my question which is where is Rail Sim so I can write a traditional letter whiuch may get so human response.

Hi

Brendan had some problems like this when transferring his Dublin to Cork route from RW to RS and it was indeed to do with textures but this was because of RW textures that were not in RS. Not exactly the same as you although the symptoms sound the same.

Have a look through the later posts in this thread as it may help but I am confident that your work is not wasted and this can be fixed.
