strange railworks proc error

This is very odd,whilst route building i,m getting the dreaded proc,exe error everytime i select a loft item,its stumped me as to why this is happening,the only recent item i have installed is the tornado pack.
anybody else had this?

Hi,

I also get a railworks proc error on the South Devon Banks v14 between Exminster and Starcross. Does anyone else have this problem ? No other routes are effected by this error only SDB.

This seems to be only happening with my West Somerset route,which was built in RS, but was working fine in Railworks up till now.still stumped.

This sounds so like the sudden error (identical) that I started getting about 4 days ago on nearly all of my non default routes (both straight RW instals and RS transfers). In fact the only RS transfer that still worked was Talyllyn.

I resolved it by completely moving out my Assets and Content folders (took a long time - the Assets folder was large) and by checking the cache on Steam, which reloaded all the missing files. Then started a slow replacement of routes and assets. All working prefectly again, with the added bonus of having cleared out a load of excess assets no longer used.

I also took the opportunity to set up a couple of mini installations with restricted routes and assets.

No idea at all what caused it, but the sim had become completely unusable for anything other than default. Even newly added routes wouldn't load, but instantly crashed. Needless to say all had been checked through RW_Tools. There were presumably some bad files in there somewhere, but I haven't found them again yet.

I get the dreaded railworks proc error on "some" scenarios in SDB routes, I loaded the new 07.00 Paddington Penzance Semi Fast cenario this morning and RW crashes and locks up even before the sim opens.

I'm sure I posted about this yesterday but my post seems to have disappeared.

All of a sudden I was getting the dreaded error on some scenarios and not others and I traced it to UKTS_22582_Mk1_RPSI.rar installing zero byte files.

I did a check of the assets folder,and also my source folder,everything was ok,still had the problem, so replaced the asset and source folders with a backup set, and hey presto! problem solved brilliant ! then thought i would put the originals back in to prove they were the problem,and yes you guessed it !they worked perfectly,i am happily now reworking my West Somerset route for Railworks,what the problem was, i am still mystified, but it runs ok now, so thats all what matters i would like to know though.

Great news that you are doing the WSR for Railworks as In have never been able to run it in RW although it is fine in RS.

I am also getting problems especially when editing any assets in scenarios. Again a recent phenomenum (not sure of the spelling).

So might try some older versions of assets.
