West Somerset Railway in Railworks

Has anyone got this excellent route to run in Railworks?

I created a new copy of Railworks specially, provided all rolling stock, assets and textures indicated by RW Tools.

I can load existing scenarios now but if I try to edit or create new scenarios I can place stock but as soom as I select it the sim crashes.

As I cannnot get RailSimulator to work on my new Win 7 I am anxious to get routes like this working on RW so I can switch from Vista eventually.

A question for Kevin Matthews the author - any plans to produce a Railworks version?

I got it to work. I had it originally on Railsimulator, created a package and ported it across, and had RW tools alter the scenarios.

Ive tried making a scenario, and it seems to work ok. Not sure why you cant get it to work, I can only suggest you delete what you have done and try placing again on another track and see if you have better luck. Im guesssing, but it sounds to me as if you have missing assets somewhere, perhaps related to track rules. Just a guess.

Did the packaging etc and can run existing scenarios and using RW Tools can make a variant but no joy in creating new scenarios and placing stock. Very odd as I have not come accrosss this before.

Anyway at least I can run something on the route in RW.

I have the west somerset route and i have to say it works fine for me with no problems. a very nice route too.

the only problem when scenario editing is the manual junctions prevent the dispatcher from routing trains, so creating scenarios is difficult. (but im not an expert so maybe someone has managed it)

I hope this can be sorted, such a brilliant route, superb scenery and everything is as accurate as the actual line itself. im sure the points could be sorted.
