Ofcause keeping in mind RW is still in it's infancy it's not doing to bad there seems to be a lot of sparks and banging coming from a lot of the developers it's just for me there a number of key element's missing to really finish it off. If I seen canter and supper elervation I'd be a happy bunny.

On the train acceleration subject I do think that if the rear powercar in the HST set was assisting as it should I think 125mph would come about very soon but come to think of it a lot of the motive power seems to be a bit down I mean a single 47 with 8 mk2's would probably be on the power for about 10 mins to reach 95 from a stand but not so in RW it's maybe the simulation or the data in the model that bit I don't know what I do know is the data is very extensive so RW really does have the potental it just need to be told how

Sounds are a big thing to me that's why am a rail fan, you would see me at Crewe in the 90's with a sound recorder not a book or a camara
so if we had all the sounds you can emagine like very slow speeds over point's witch would cause that rappidly changing sqweel from the flange the rubbing of the friction plates on the top of the bogies to the under frame and so on would make for a very good sim I beleive very strongly that the greater the sounds the more imersive it is and as a sim should be
O and give the class 55 a nose with in the cab.

of a wish list, an oppertunity for railsimulator.com to see what there fans might hope to see.
But ofcause if a developor is looking for another project and doesn't know what todo then the users can have some imput as to what might happen next after all
it is out sim and we can but dream.

I agree with the underlined text.
Requesting updates to the core of the sim is a must... i'm asking to have distant mountains till the first day but with a team of only 12 persons how on earth they can do every route, train and else requested on all the topic i have read in the last 2 years?
-And what if user don't have the time or the skill or even the patience
For me they can wait till someone will do the requested route, train etc.. 8)
Look for the scenery I did make long before you were even born...
So back in 1952? It had to be a pleasure to do a scenery on UNIVAC I. :D
Ok.. can i see one of your train? a cab? a bridge? a generic 3D? a track? done for RailWorks.? I'm young ( ROTFL ) and i want to learn from the best.

Agreed I've no problem waitting as I know things like this can't be whipped up in a night and I take my hat off to those who create for us all.

I actually like the 47 (esp with AP sounds), but it could be improved a lot with minor cosmetic changes (presuming RS.com still have the original model), notably to the front end. What stands out a mile for me is the handrail which should not be straight but follow the curvature of the "nose". Honestly, a few tweaks here and there would help a great deal to update the model.

Absolutely it's the front end that bugs me too just too round noticeable around the buffer beam it's not that I don't like it infact am tweeking a new cab view to give just put you higher in the cab

Yes this could do with being fixed. Not sure as to why its stopped working. The plates are there on the track but no longer seem to function.

Wow, I haven't noticed it, but it makes a lot of sense now, you are allowed to run the a single yellow aspect signal at 90mph, and nothing happens to the train, whereas before, doing that at 60mph would hit the emergency brakes. I wonder why it has been turned off, it really made you watch your speeds through signal blocks. I think that would be great if it was included in the next update patch. :)

As far as I recall the speed supervision by TPWS never worked in any version of RW. The 'SPAD' part always did and still does. There was some unrealistic feature whereby a TPWS equipped train would come to an emergency stop if the line speed was exceeded by as little as 0.1 mph and that's the feature that has been dropped.

Yes, totally annoying and was pleased the second that went... I'd only welcome a return of working TPWS grids IF proper "prototypical" actions were implemented, and not a return to the 0.1 MPH overspeed tripping the brakes out. :)

From Twitter:
Creating a mini-route with scenarios to test that nothing in the upcoming update breaks existing functionality. So far so good
Looks like an update is coming pretty soon :)
