I so can't wait for this ! .They worked around here a lot hauling the coal merry-go-round from Parkside colliery on the Liverpool & Manchester railway to Fiddlers Ferry power station via Warrrington on the WCML til the late 80's . Also a lot of this class was built at the Vulcan foundry a stones throw from where I was brought up.
I so can't wait :)

Don't think I ever scratched any of these for haulage in the 1970's/1980's though I do remember when I first started on the railway in Northampton in 1977, seeing a double headed pair coming off the still open Market Harborough line with a freight.

For more unusual workings, ISTR one was stabled at Fort William for a while.

Might put this on my wish list, but priority for me would be sound/physics/cab/price as these are quite distinctive locos and would not benefit from any form of "genericifation".

Doubleheaders round here was the norm with Choppers . coupled bonnet to bonnet . It gave them roughly the same traction power of a Big D (which frequently stalled on the tight curve out of Earlestown).

V16 1co-co1 versus 2x V8 Bo-Bo.

Thanks for all the comments. Work started on gathering everything for the 20 that we're doing before we knew another one was in production, and it has gone well past the point that we'd want to stop the project part way - good thing is that everyone will have a choice.

There has been some questions and comments about things like liveries, sounds, cabs, scenarios, etc... I can confirm that as with our other locos the 20 will have a fully modelled cab, sounds from the real loco, several liveries (from introduction up to current day), and yes we've listened to you about scenarios, there will be a decent selection of those too. I can't say much more though at the moment as it'd ruin the surprise by announcing more wouldn't it? :D

Great news - there will be two fantastic releases here. Though what I haven't heard about in a while is the 67, it was announced that its release would be before the new year, is there still progress on it?

Look from the spoon across to the chopper then next check the tractor out compared to the Jocko. Now which one looks out of place?

Wales & Borders(BR) V3.1 status.
Re-released for RW. Hopefully some of you will get it to work this time.

The 20 looks to have the right colour to me. Dirty and worked. If is alone, then it is in the wrong livery.

Well, as much as I hate Skips, I would like to see where it goes and it would look great on the rear end of a railtour!

But yes, I agree, 20s make proper noise, not like robotic sounding Spanish things!

Simon,
Will the 20 come in a boxed version ?

Why I'm asking is that I really do not like the download versions because of the "if you install 3 times you must pay for further installs".
I'll not enter into arguments about that but I'd really like it, but only in a box.

Thanks for your great work.
