RW won't load from Steam? Missing DLL?

When I try to launch my newly downloaded copy of RWs it asks me to test the display settings. However as soon as I click test, I get an error window stating that it was unable to open the "GameManager.dll" and I have to quit. Anybody else had this problem?

I haven't downloaded it fully yet, but i have the gamemanager.dll in the plugin folder.

Yeah me too - sitting in this folder C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\plugins at 8.3mb

This is very frustrating - I can't see any option at this stage other than to delete and re-download???

Just out of interest, are you new to RailWorks, having not used Rail Simulator before on your PC?

Just spent the last 2 hours re-downloading only to find the exact same problem. Really cheesed off now. Anyone got any ideas?

what is your monitors native resolution ? If it is the same as shown in the picture shouldn't you have full screen selected ?

Regardless of what options I select (including fullscreen) the error still occurs. My GPU drivers are up to date and I don't have any problems with any other games including those I launch from Steam.

Sorry I just tried it and when testing it wouldn't accept what I suggested. Perhaps you should send a email to RS.com support.

I am having the the same problem with my installation too. RW can not load the GameManager.dll file.

Look in the plugins in de Steam folder....
GameManager.dll >should be there.

It is there - but unfortunately the game still won't work.
