May I point out two issue here:

Hi,

I'm not against them.
This is my first time install this software however I'm isn't good at English but English is my first language.
I just want to know how to install TS2012 Exporter installing into "Addon" Folder.

Ok, so try this:

1) Find the folder where Blender is installed.
Start in C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files(x86) or similar.
There, you find Blender or Blender Foundation.
In that, you find Blender.
In that folder, you find something with a number, like 2.63 or 2.64 or similar.
There, you find scripts.
In that folder, you find addons.

2) Open the ZIP that you downloaded (Blender_2.6x_TS2012_exporter_v1.1.zip or similar).
Find these two files:
io_export_ia.py
io_export_igs.py
Copy them to the folder addons which you found before.

3) Start Blender and go to Addons. Find
Import/Export: IGS Model Format (.igs)
and click on the box to the right to get a check mark there.

Repeat for .ia if your model is animated.

Go to Interface (on the top left).
There, on the bottom left, click Save As Default.

If this is not clear enough, please tell me where you fail.

Sorted!

But I got a problem when exporting the object.
While I exporting the object, I went to find it in my folder, It show as .txt and when I opened it, it said ">>>> ERROR: File IGS_ExpModFile.txt empty or not found in model directory <<<<" How I fix this problem?

What about copying the file with that name from the ZIP in which the exporter came?
Copy it to the folder where your model is, said the manual, when I last checked it.

Done it, I have check again and it got .txt again but inside it is lots of scripts and some meshes.
While I get to buttom, It said the ERROR "ERROR: Blender Mesh object 'camerca.001 has no collection of UV maps for tessellated faces (chec kmeterial assignement)."
Hmm look like there are something that need to be removed from object.

Obviously it tries to export the camera. Just delete it from the scene.

If you don't know, you need to zoom out from your model, then you will see some sort of cut-off pyramid, that is the camera. You don't need it if you only build for TS2012.

You need to go through the list of objects in your model, in Blender.
This is best done in outliner: http://www.blender.org/development/rele ... /outliner/

There is some part of your model, called camerca.001, which should be deleted, most certainly. On a second look, I see that it is no camera but camerca. Also the suffix .001 shows it is a duplicate. Only you can know where it comes from and what it is. :) :)

I've check and there are no camerca.001, not at all.

Hello!

Very glad to see an update to the IGS exporter for Blender. I was able to get the old version working for all my projects, save one: viewer-facing flora.

And now it appears I am having the same trouble with the new IGS exporter. I love how it sets the viewer facing value according to the shader you select. In my case, it's the TrUpVFaceFlora shader, which sets the viewer facing property to "2".

This causes the blueprint editor to crash with the attached error. If I change the shader in slot 1 to something more basic, like TrDiff, the export works, but the resulting geometry is then incorrect. I am testing a single plane mesh with an image texture in slot 2.

Any clues? I have been able to export pretty much anythings else, including animations. The tool totally rocks!

Hello everyone
Very thanks for the exporter but I've a problem and I don't know if my problem is already solved because I'm not very good in Englisch.
I've export it to the map and I want to click with my right mouse on the IGS file but it isn't clickable. I've got no error or fail in the log file.
Anybody knows answer?

What do you mean by "to the map"?

First, you export .igs from Blender. You copy this file into railworks/Source/steamSSN/TestProject/.

Then, you start the Blueprint Editor (or Utilities.exe and Blueprint Editor there). You open folder "steamSSN", then "TestProject", then right-click on the .igs file and select "new shape blueprint". You see a dialogue box appear and select Scenery Blueprint. Then, you fill that all in. Be sure to select something for Category. E.g., clutter will be what you see when you click on the bag icon, I guess. It also helps to have a name starting with ZZZ or AAA if you don't find your test object in TS2013.

Then, you start the TS2013 World Editor, click the blue cube then select Provider steamSSN on the menu on the right (fly-out box on the side of the window). Then select TestProject. Then, you object is visible in the object list.

I can't right click on it. To select new shape blueprints. Are there any other files needed in testproject? I've the only the IGS_expmodfileTXT en the export file. Very much thanks if you can help me.

For export you should have the correct txt files and Textures folder with *.ace texture.

...\Source\steamSSN\TestProject

IGS_ExpModFile.txt
somename_IGSExpModFile2.txt
somename.blend
somename.IGS (you get it when export it from Blender)
Textures (folder)
