In the dark

While working on a scenario for WCML-N I have encountered a small issue and am hoping someone could throw some light onto it.

The scenario starts at Mossend yard at 06:15 on the first of May. I've set the time of year to spring and the weather to WN-clear. The sun is just beginning to keek over the horizon. I have TSX off.

On my first test run it was pitch black. Only the signals and the sky dome were visible. Not quite what I was expecting, given that this was dawn. I then noticed that none of the scenery lights were on, yard lights, station lights, vehicle lights, nothing. I tried closing RW and starting it again, launching the scenario from the Drive by Route menu. Same result.

Fearing that I had inadvertantley caused a SSHH (someone stupid has happened!) I thought to try the Sunday Madness scenario which comes with WCML-N. It worked fine, lights were on and while it was night-time dark it wasnt the pitch black I had seen in my own scenario. Wondering if I had failed to tick an asset in the scenario editor I launched Sunday Madness in the editor and checked what was ticked. I then returned to my own scenario intending to double check the ticked assets but lo, it was let there be light!

I'm now seeing this same issue occur every time I launch my scenario, either from Drive by Route or in the editor. Only by launching Sunday Madness first can I get the lights to trigger and dawn to break in my own work.

Any thoughts would be appreciatted.

Cheers,

As far as I know, in RW world the lights go off at 6 am and don't come back on until 6pm.
