Scenario: Power Failure

I am busy creating a scenario about a power failure in the area. Basicly it is about an electric loco with its load outside a station and I want to haul it back to the station with diesel traction.
I have made a Siding marker and named it Failure. Then I placed the "failure train" on it. I then make an instruction as to "couple to the back" at the said marker. Now the route shows up exactlly as I planned but when I reach the "failure train", it does not trigger the instruction. I do couple to it, move of away from the marker, etc, but nothing happened. I even changed the train around so that I couple to the back of the cars as if the train was leaving my station and not arriving.
Where do I go wrong?
Thanks
Martin

You should try to ensure that the marker contains the assisting loco and at least part of the failed train at the same time.

Also, ensure that you really are coupling to the back of the player loco - ie. the end wthout the driver icon.

It seems this one is sorted out. After testing and testing.
First I streched the failed train over the whole of the marker. That did not work. Then I move it back so the helper can stop on the marker to couple. That did not do the trick. Then I changed the marker from Destination to Siding and back. End at last, I marked the failed loco as failed in the consist properties. After that the scenario worked like I hoped it would.
I also made very sure as to which side I must couple, to the back or the front, but that was not my problem. I think it has something to do with failed loco itself.
Thanks for the help
