Scenario Editor Crashes

Post by 3DTrains »

Anyone else get odd behavior in the scenario editor? With each save the sim crashes when it attempts to go to play. Loading from the main menu for play or edit works fine, and it matters not that it's newly created or from a previous save. Only the transition from edit, save, and then directly to play mode causes the crash.
Cheers!

I'm not getting this, Marc - but I am finding that if you edit a scenario then go straight to play, then AI tends to not move or is unpredictable. But it does load.

Is this just on one route?

Hi Paul,

The route is one that I created. I'm not sure if there's too much going on during the load, but I'll play with the game settings to see if that helps.
Cheers!

If I have edited a scenario it doesn't crash if I then click play. If I go back to the menu screen and load the changed scenario it crashes; I have to go back to the start screen to get the scenario to run.

I was editing a scenario yesterday in RW3 that I had originally created in RW2. When clicking the Play button it caused a SBHH error, but I found that after restarting and playing from the main menu, the changes had been saved and scenario loaded without any problems. I've had no issues with scenarios created in RW3, although after clicking Play, I immediately quit and load from the menu because I find that the AI doesn't work correctly otherwise.
