Oh dear - RW scenario won't work with TS12 & other problems

I recently wrote my first publishable scenario using RW2, but decided not to share it until I'd tested it successfully in TS12. Good move. I ran it this morning, going straight in rather than taking a look under the bonnet first. All seemed to be going well, but about half way through it crashed (something bad...).

It's a scenario for the Bristol to Exeter route. A forum contact had tested it for me in RW2 as well, and it worked on his machine.

So I looked under the bonnet (the editor). There were all sorts of error messages that hadn't been there in RW2 about services clashing with consists and sharing signal blocks etc. Most of which had worked fine in the first half of the scenario and wouldn't have been involved in anything happening in the second.

I tried all sorts of fixes, including removing all of the allegedly miscreant consists and sharing services, but no luck. Error messages stopped being hyperlinks for map checking purposes, but were still there in white text.

I shrugged my shoulders and put it down to life, and buckled down to recreating the scenario from scratch. All was going well enough, but then I found that some of the stock I need, though listed, seemed to be invisible (specifically; most but not all of the 158 vehicles, including any produced by Dan (such as the SWT 159), and the JT 153. It also seems to be impossible to copy and paste the extra stock produced as scenery by JT for the B-E route, so you have to place each one and align it individually. Tedious.

And then, just as I discovered yet another invisible vehicle, the whole thing crashed. Bit frustrating really.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Is the B&E route perhaps not quite compatible with TS12, or have I missed something? I'd be grateful to know. I was pretty proud of the scenario and looking forward to sharing it!

Yours in hope
