Hello all,
As part of the scenario i am making for people to hopefully get more out of the default route and stock, i was wondering if it is worth adding the voyager for AI reasons or use the GW HST in its place? Whilst it would be unrealistic, a hate of mine oddly, you wouldnt really know it was on an XC service being that HSTs run from oxford alot, plus there isnt that many XC services. Is there many uswrs who have the voyager pack? I am adding the 66 in as id imagine everyone hass that plus theres no real replacement fo that!
James.

Many people do have the Voyager, but it isn't default and it isn't even on Steam! It might therefore be counter-productive to the stated intention of your effort.
The key to knowledge is not to rely on others to teach you it.

Could you explain what you meant at the end please? Sorry its just the condition i have i dont always understand things.
Didnt notice the voyager wasnt available in most places, explains why theres little activities for them on padd to oxford default route. i was going to do a voyager activity with it but the aim is to uae the turbos and HSTs, the 66s being used to decorate Acton yard and use for AI freight, more used than the voyager so its viable.

I think what he meant was that requiring payware items like the Voyager seems to be at odds with your intention to get more out of default or freeware items.tubemad wrote:Could you explain what you meant at the end please? Sorry its just the condition i have i dont always understand things.
At the end of the day it's your scenario and it's up to you to create it how you want to create it. Don't spend too much effort trying to please everyone else because it will be impossible to get it right for everybody. Just do whatever you need to do for it to meet your requirements and let everyone else worry about whether they have the required items or a method of making substitutions.
As an alternative you may want to see if there are any CrossCountry reskins for the HST in the library. This would be a good way of keeping it free while still getting a train operated by the appropriate company even if it's not quite the right model.
