The most unusual problem

I am making a part 2 to an act that has been finished but not uploaded onto UKTS yet.

What happened was that in scenario editor mode i had finished the timetable and the swirling circle on the bottom that checks it all over first kept going and going so i thought it was thinking it over and went and got a drink and a biscuit and it will still doing when i got back 5 mins later so i thought "forget this" and hit the play button to load the act and the red bar on the loading screen just kept going and going, i minimised it thinking there was going to be a SBHH error window lurking about behind and there wasn't any error whatsoever just a plain desktop.

So i exited the program and rebooted it and selected the act by the "drive by route" section and i just get the red bar going over and over and its the same with trying to access the scenario by the scenario editor.


What have i done and is this problem fixable and avoidable???

If the red bar is still going, then it is still loading. It can take a long time if you are using a big route and/or a lot of selected asset categories.

It seems that turning off Vsync can speed it up, sometimes by a lot, but then you have to live with the screen tearing once in-game.
