Extending Scenario

I am new to RW, but have just finished my first Scenario. A simple run taking a Train from Hedborough North Sidings to the Petroleum Terminal. I have managed to add losts of AI trains and would now like to extend the scenario if possible. On arrival at the Petroleum Terminal, I want to detach the loco and then runs 'light engine' to the Wood Yard to collect some other wagons and work back to Hedborough. Could someone tell me what I need to do to add the 'detach loco' instruction, how to add the 'attach wagons' at the Wood Yard and also how do you extend the destination of the 'driver' train to include running to the Wood yard and then back to Hedborough. I know I am asking a lot, but any help is appreciated. Kevin.

I suggest you read the Timetable View Manual that can be found in your Railworks/Manuals/EN folder - it covers everything you want to do, and Timetable View is much easier to use than the traditional scenario editor. All you need to do is insert some extra instructions before the scenario ends.

I have now read through the timetable view manual, but still need a little assistance. I have now added a 'Drop off' instruction to detach all wagons at the Petroleum Sidings. I have then added a 'Add rail vehicle' instruction at the Wood Yard and added the final destination as the Coal Yard. However the red route on the map does not go via the Wood Yard, but straight to the Coal Yard. So what do I need to do for RW to recognise that I want to take the 'light loco' from the Petroleum Sidings to the Wood Yard (includes a reverse at the Junction) attach at the wood yard and then proceed to the Coal yard. Thanks Kevin.

Set a red flag, (waypoint) and add wood yard as the destination, then the red line should go over wood yard.
You can set own destination Markers in the scenery (click in the scenery editor on the signal) so you can set the path so you want.
