Ive just done a scenario for the South Devon Banks V14 route. Its from Exeter-Kingswear using the new IHH class 52 pack with DT mk1's.In the testing of the route when it stops at Torquay, the doors wont open on the mk1's.Ive tried changing where I stop in the station but they remain closed.Everything else works fine.
Any suggestions?
Cheers
Gareth

Re: Doors wont open
Do other rolling stock types work okay?
Re: Doors wont open
Two possible problems:
The MK1s do not support door animation. Is possible, but unlikely.
The marker has the wrong type. It should be a platform marker, doors will not open if a destination marker is used.
Note also that there is a bug with the platform markers. They do not support door opening animation if they are created as scenario specific markers.

Re: Doors wont open
I've also discovered that if you make the lineage-object for the people on the marker too short on a platform (example; from Lineage Object Tools --> Platforms --> Platform Inv 5M L 00's), or if the Platform Marker is too short, then the train doors may not open. So be sure that your platform-people lineage-object and your platform-marker is of a good length. Also don't have the platform-people lineage-object "broken" in short segments - try to have one longer smooth segment rather than a series of short ones strung together.
A good way to help line-up a platform-people lineage-object with the track next to it is to use the offset tool, then you can click on the new lineage-object created and adjust position and height accordingly. I find when in the world-editor that the V, B (up and down), C, N (forward and back relative to camera view), F and G (rotate left and right) keys are quite useful in helping to precisely line up lineage-objects, or objects in general, to the position you want .
