Acceleration without Throttle

Post by SAVV01 »

Time for another question for the experts!

Now that I have finally got my latest loco project into the sim as soon as I select it to drive it takes off in a forwards direction and settles at around 8mph. This is before putting it in forwards or opening the throttle, applying the brake does nothing it just keeps on soldiering on. The only way to stop it is to put it in reverse and counter-act the forwards movement by open the throttle. This of course is no use.

Anybody encountered this before and know how to fix it?

Regards,
Stefan

Check your bogie centres and the centre of gravity aren't set up so the locomotive is tipping in one direction.
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.
