The 142 looks fantastic!,

Was wondering though, will the sounds be as they currently are with the cummins/voith drivetrain or are there plans to do a version with the original TL11 engines as they were when new?

Cheers!

Thanks for the compliment,

The sounds will be from the engines that are currently on the 142's. We don't currently have plans of doing a version with the original engines, although offhand does anyone know if the Class 141 uses the same engine?

Cheers,

Chris.

The Wikipedia page says the 141 uses the TL11, so I guess they do.

All 141's had the Leyland engine, except 141113 which had the Cummins engine which is the same that all other pacers currently have.

Memories of the glorious summer sale are fast fading but all is not lost, there is something bouncing towards us in the distance. Whatever could it be?
From Armstrong Powerhouse's Facebook page. Mustn't be long until release now :D

I'm sure I must be missing something, but I can't see anything other than a moody shot of the North end of Exeter SD :P

You can just make out a headlight and marker light with the Pacer's 3-window cab design in the distance to the right of the buffer stops. :)

Oh, also found this on Waggonz's Facebook page.
Unit starts with all power off
Working Master Key.
Prototypical reverser function.
AWS Self test.
Working DRA.
Engine temperature which is linked to exhaust smoke and ignition starting time.
Semi functional compressor.
Independent driver and guard wipers.
Dynamic passengers, passengers board and leave the train when the doors are open.
Wheel slip / lock with in cab indicators, speedometer needle is affected appropriately.
Working Saloon lights.
Prototypical headlights with 5 position rotary switch.
Working roller destination blind.
Functional digital destination computer with correct route numbers.
Driver and guard cab lights.
Operable sun blinds
Opening cab windows
8 liveries
3 Cab styles
Usual TSX effects
and a few more bits I cant think of right now...
In the comments has been Waggonz confirming a driver-guard buzzer, and I remember from one of the WIP videos showing the in-cab fan! :D
