The Australian XA class were mechanically similar, and XA1401 is preserved and has been active. There's a video but it's a double header: however, near the end do I detect a hint of the two-stroke 'vroom' in there?

Are there any plans for a Class 185 unit in RW3?

Does nobody have any thoughts or news of a FTPE Class 185 unit.

This would complete the compliment of DMUs.

I wish some kind person would build Thumper Units (205/207) & Hastings Units.

Also, a Class 150 Sprinter in both Sealed End & Corridor Connection variation would be nice.

Ash
I was wondering what had happened to the 28. Was positive that I'd seen it in some of my Dad's photos. Glad to know it's still around. Wouldn't mind seeing/hearing it myself someday!

Gaz.
