Well, the good news is I can build a tool in sketchup to build the pipe easier and successfully get it into 3D Crafter. The problem with building the tools always in Crafter is it was extremely hard to get those lines to line up and if you didn't do it right the pipe would build as split when it should be connected, or you would have a really strange looking bend like a square in your pipe.

Use Vivaty Studio - you can even texture in Sketchup and export to 3D Crafter, 3D Studio Max etc.

I finally was able to correct the size problem with my Pacific and make it the correct size for Railworks.
