Re: Problem with Auto Numbering not showing in game

Hi
I eventually made longer numbers for my wagons and where there was a fixed digit, say an E before every number, I textured that into the background of the number plate with changeable digits after it.
I have not experimented with anything other than a run of digits but I think it is possible to move the faces around. You can make a number plate from a single face that has been sub-divided into smaller faces for the numbers to occupy, you can merge together several smaller faces to form one large object or you could create a 3D number plate and divide one face into smaller faces. This may allow you to place permanent hyphens and spaces between the faces that take the changing numbers.
I have checked with my wagon blueprint and the Numbering Format field has been left blank and the Numberings field has a zero in it.
The csv file is created in Excel with the format on each row being -
Column A = 0
Column B = 0
Column C = 12345 (or whatever being one of the numbers you want to allocate to your model)
Row 2 is the same with Column C showing another number that you want to allocate to a model
And so on for as many possible numbers that could be used.
When you place one of your models in the game RW will search for an unused number in column C and allocate it to your model. If you want to put another copy of the model in the game, RW will find another unused number from column C and give that to the new copy. RW will not give two models the same name although it might happen if you choose numbers for rolling stock that have been used on another rolling stock model.
I hope that helps
