Water Level at start of an Steam Engine

Post by StefanSchmidt »

The water level in the HUD of an little Steam Engine is shown with 454 L, this is a little bit less. The slider is set to 100%.
Which values have to be changed in the blueprints to increase the basic storage of the water?
Tanks for any help.

In the engine bin/xml file near the bottom there is a section

Code: Select all

<Capacity d:type="sFloat32">1900.000000</Capacity>
<BulkFreightType d:type="cDeltaString">WaterFuel</BulkFreightType>
Just change the capacity.

Note: This assumes you have knowledge of engine bin file hacking.

Thank You, that was the right way. I like hacking .bin files with RW-tools, there is always a backup if something goes wrong.
