Electro Pneumatic Braking

Hi All.
I'm just curious to find out if anybody has developed any stock with a working electro pneumatic brake. The blueprints provide a brake type as EP but we can't seem to get it to behave how an EP brake should do. There is a serious lack of RW documentation on this, even in their Wiki.

maybe it's not even working. There are a lots of things in blueprints that aren't working at all, or aren't working correctly.

That's what we thought. If not, why not. There is/was lots of stock out there that used EP brakes, especially multiple units.

The EP brake type seems to be a hangover from the MSTS code (opps! sorry I forgot RW's not susposed to be based on the same software :-) ). And like MSTS it doesn't work, or at least doesn't work in any way that resembles an EP brake. I just use the conventional air brake type, with fast release/apply rates (consist propergation delay isn't properly simulated, which is actually a plus for EP use) and generally the DIRECT brake control. My 317 has a 3 step Westcode type EP simulation, and see my update of the class 483 for an EP/auto simulation.

Thanks Dave. I knew I could rely on the guy with top knowledge in this department.
I have your 483 update. I'll take a look at the .xml and script.
