Electro Pneumatic Braking

Hi All.
I'm just curious to find out if anybody has developed any stock with a working electro pneumatic brake. The blueprints provide a brake type as EP but we can't seem to get it to behave how an EP brake should do. There is a serious lack of RW documentation on this, even in their Wiki.

maybe it's not even working. There are a lots of things in blueprints that aren't working at all, or aren't working correctly.

That's what we thought. If not, why not. There is/was lots of stock out there that used EP brakes, especially multiple units.

The EP brake type seems to be a hangover from the MSTS code (opps! sorry I forgot RW's not susposed to be based on the same software

). And like MSTS it doesn't work, or at least doesn't work in any way that resembles an EP brake. I just use the conventional air brake type, with fast release/apply rates (consist propergation delay isn't properly simulated, which is actually a plus for EP use) and generally the DIRECT brake control. My 317 has a 3 step Westcode type EP simulation, and see my update of the class 483 for an EP/auto simulation.

Thanks Dave. I knew I could rely on the guy with top knowledge in this department.
I have your 483 update. I'll take a look at the .xml and script.
