Wagon derailing when I approach

Hello,

I did get the new exporter from 3DCanvas 8.2 to work today (train sim wizard), so I gave it a try to convert a wagon for RailWorks. I make the blueprint, with the couplings and bogie blueprints.

I can see the wagon in the preview and load it on the rails i RailWorks. But when I approach with a locomotive the wagon derails 10-15 meteres before the locomotive reach the wagon, even the wagon is only ~14 meters long. I have tried to search in the forum to find any answares, but I didn't find anything. I can couple the wagons together with each other without any problems. I have tried to adjust the collision lenght, the front pivot x and the back pivot x, but without success.

Has someone experience with this problem and know about a solution?

Thank you in advance! 8)

Best regards, Oystein

Well, I don't have much experience with getting wagons in game, but are the centers in 3dCanvas correct? By the looks of it your wagon seems to be off to the side.

It's derailing :D Before all the wheels where on the track.

It works now, the pivot point on one of the bogies was far away from the position of the bogie, not a blueprint error but a error in the 3d canvas file.
I like the quality of the 3d modell in RW that is actually made for MSTS. But I don't know if I will continue on this project since the lack of realism in RW (train handling, brake physics) But its good to know that I have the opportunity to convert my 3d files into RW in the future if the simulator is getting better.

That's what I was trying to refer too, it seems that was true.

Well, I think we'd all benefit from seeing your stuff in RailWorks. Would be cool to see you continue.

Sorry but I misunderstood your post, I thought you meant that the wagon was on the side of the track in RW. Thanks for trying to help a blind man like me :drinking:
I will continue making 3d models, but I'll think I will wait and see whats happening to RW and other train simulators like Open Rails before I start converting the files to a simulator.

Lack of realism? :D maybe i play with another game, but i play with RW instead of MSTS because it have physics, what MSTS barely got (and a lots of other things).
