Your requests

Hi,

I'm looking to build some new rolling stock for those Irish Rail entusiasts who are starved of content. If I am going to make a new loco it might as well benefit those in the community.
Please post a reply on what you would like me to make for RW and is from the IRISH DIESEL ERA.

Whichever loco (or even DMU/coach) is most popular I will ATTEMPT to make it. There is no guarantee it will be made and I might switch to making something easier as this is my first time modelling. However I do hope to make what is requested and at a latter date I may need some BETA testers and a supply of reference material if anyone is willing to help.

Please contribute for the good of the community.
Thanks.

Hi, if this is your first piece of rolling stock, try just making a box and two bogies with wheels, and learn how to put it in game first. And then, try to make rolling stock.

Hi Mate
True with the post above. First you have to start with something small put it into the game and then try move on to something bigger, but if you ask me a Class 071 would be deffinately the best (best Irish loco, not only for me, probably most irish rail lovers):D

Cheers
Lukas

Yes I was certainly thinking of making one myself. I have a full 3 months ahead of me to get a grip on things and make a model. But I suppose I'll put my first project on a 071, This could also be easily manipulated to make a 141 class also.

When I do get started I plan to make one with original 'bare bulb' headlights and in the black w/white and orange stripe and the original CIE (orange and black) liveries.
Also included would be the modernised version with updated headlights and in 3 liveries.
(black and orange IR point logo and intercity logo/IR silver+yellow freight livery)

I might include weedspray warning panels if anyone would like me to do so.

After that I might do a 121 class or cravens coaches...
