Conflat-A Wagon for Project Platform

Fire up your 3D modelling tool and start building some rolling stock, or find out what others are previewing here. If you have questions about how to make the blueprints work or what names mean what in models, here's the place to find out your answers.

Conflat-A Wagon for Project Platform

Post by g0fthick »

Or "how quickly I can throw together assets so I don't disturb my University work schedule".

An evening's work, I will hopefully have the modelling done tomorrow. Currently planning on throwing an A type container onto it as a freight object, but I'm open to suggestions if anyone is after something specific.

If there are enough images available to make the necessary modifications I'm sure I could manage something. :)

That's the wagon modelled, now to sort the freight out and get it all textured up.

And now there's an A type container on it.

Modelling's done now, bar the chains that hold the container down. I'll throw those together tomorrow.

I would suggest, if possible, to have the freight object as a seperate, child, object, so that we can add our own...

thanks,

That's currently the plan. I might even throw together an alternate, much grimier scenic container to litter the yards with.

That's the wagon itself unwrapped and shadow baked. Next up is unwrapping the container and shadow baking it, although that'll take considerably less time. :)
