Good day everyone in our wonderful world of virtual railroading:
Many of you have been asking about the pictures of the route that I have been working on. This has been a side project between scenarios and repaints for some time now. It has come time however to get back into it and push on. Thus far this route will require the ownership of 3D Trains fantastic ScaleRail, ScaleRoads and Rural Landscapes in order to work. I have completed roughly 18 of about 40 miles of the route. This is a 3 track mainline with 3 major yards along the run and 11 passenger stops include one major city center that has several tracks and many crossovers to deal with, can’t wait to signal it. Nothing is final yet as to what will be included or required other than the above mentioned 3DTrains items as this project is still in the early stages but I have been making good progress over the past couple of weeks. This is a line that I have lived near my entire life. It means a lot to me to make this look right so I am spending a lot of time on little things. See the below screenshots for a recent look at what is going on with the route.

This is the Lakeshore West line used by GO Transit, Canadian National, VIA and is visited by Amtrak on a regular basis also. I have modeled the route from just East of Bayview JCT to Toronto Union station. It will include all GO stops and the yards at Aldershot, Oakville (FORD) and Mimico. I have completed track work and most details from Bayview to Oakville. I have lived in Oakville my entire life as I mentioned so things are starting to heat up now.
Thanks for taking the time to ahve a look. I hope you have enjoyed the screenshots.
Have a great day

Re: Lakeshore West, Aldershot to Toronto route on the way
Here is a short video of some switching work around the first completed sections o the route. I have enough yards, sidings and stations that I can now start to work on scenario writing to test signals and so on.
